Metal Roofing

Metal roofing is our specialty. We have been serving the lowcountry with metal roofs since 1982. We have completed numerous` homes and buildings ranging from small to large. We take pride in our work and make sure that we will do the best job possible. We spend countless hours bending every piece of metal for a custom fit, no matter the situation. This makes it so every panel and every piece of flashing will fit your home perfectly. Many other roofing companies do not offer this and will order pre-made panels and flashing.

There are many different styles and guages (thickness) to metal roofing. The two most common styles are exposed fasteners (Rib-Loc, 5V) and unexposed fasteners (Standing Seam). Exposed fastened roofs are fastened with a 1 1/2" (minimum) screw with a neoprene washer that will create a seal. All flashing (besides valleys) are fastened with the same method. All screws will match the finish color. Unexposed fastened roofs means all panels and flashing are unexposed to any nails or screws. This means all flashing is custom made by clipping or locking it together for a tight seal protecting against wind and rain.
Metal Roofing can be made from a variety of metals and alloys, including galvinized, galvulume, aluminum and more. We at B&C do not install or offer galvinized metal due to the risk of rust. The main sellers are galvalume and painted steel because it offers 30 - 50 years of no rust and no paint fade. It is also on the lower end on price range for metal roofing systems.
